What to make out of silk?!?

So, my grandmother just gave me her beautiful, handmade, antique floor loom
with a loverly warp of a medium weight (pink) silk warp already on the back
and enough silk yarn to weave the weft. I desperately want to weave
something for a historical costume (any time from 1558-1900) but can't
decide what to make. Originally, the silk was going to be made into a modern
dress.

Any ideas?

Sincerely perplexed,

Maybe a kimono? Or some type of Victorian summer dress?
